The XHXC105 Single-Phase Transformer Demagnetizer is engineered specifically for eliminating residual magnetism in high-capacity power transformers (35kV and above, especially 330kV+ units). Residual magnetism—caused by ferromagnetic hysteresis during DC resistance testing and voltage ratio measurements—is a critical pre-commissioning concern: energizing a magnetized transformer can cause half-cycle saturation, generate massive harmonic inrush currents, trigger protective relay misoperation, and in severe cases precipitate cascading substation blackouts.
The XHXC105 addresses this with a patented DC attenuation frequency conversion technology incorporating three synergistic principles: (1) periodically reversing DC current polarity, (2) progressively decreasing current amplitude through 5A → 1A → 200mA → 5mA stages, and (3) systematically shrinking magnetic hysteresis loops via alternating pole cancellation. A single B-phase connection is sufficient to demagnetize all three phases—a unique field advantage—achieving over 90% efficiency in a single pass compared to 80% with conventional methods. The 5kg portable design, 16-bit AD data acquisition, and intuitive dual-button operation make it the ideal tool for substation commissioning and transformer manufacturing quality control.
